Just misses out on 2026
Bitmap Bureau’s upcoming beat ’em up He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction (say that ten times fast) has finally gotten a new release date.
It will launch on the Switch on 4th February 2027.
Following a lengthy delay, pre-orders for the title are up on Clear River Games (£25) and Limited Run Games (£30). Both outlets bundle in a booklet, but Limited Run is also offering up a foil embossed slip-case for the extra dosh.
Limited Run is also selling a collector’s edition for £100, and this includes the following:
- Everything included in the Standard Edition
- Collector’s Box designed by CultureFly, creators of premium pop culture merch
- Lunchbox Style Packaging so you can relive your 1980s lunchtimes (egg sandwiches not included)
- SteelCase to protect your game from battle
- Epoxy character pin badges featuring in-game sprites, to show the world you’re a He-Man lover or Skeletor aficionado
- He-Man Power Sword Replica and stand to show all of Eternia that you have the power
- Acrylic Standee featuring He-Man riding Battle Cat
- Mini 12-page Comic Book created by the legendary Dark Horse Comics

If you’re quick, the first 2,250 pre-orders for the collector’s edition will also come bundled with a free 5.5-inch He-Man action figure, so you can play with it in the bath after a hard day crunching numbers and whatnot.
Pre-orders close at Limited Run on 22nd November at 11:59pm eastern time.

Bitmap Bureau is also responsible for Terminator 2D: NO FATE, which launched in 2025 and earned a score of 7/10 in our review.
