Watch: Chad Lowe, Kim Painter’s Eldest Daughter Mabel Speaks Out After Sister Fiona’s Death

Chad Lowe is looking to divinity amid his grief.
One week after the Pretty Little Liars alum and wife Kim Painter‘s 13-year-old daughter Fiona Harper died by suicide, he reposted a message about faith and the afterlife.Â
“It’s an energy field, and we possess it all the time within ourselves,” Gerry Hussey said on the June 2025 On Healing podcast, which Lowe shared on his Instagram Stories Oct. 8. “We are all part of the frequency. We all possess direct access to that.”
“We both possess the human and the divine, and through consciousness and awareness, and when we awaken the peaceful observer, and we get beyond our physical human emotions,” he continued, “that is the divine frequency.”
The life coach described the phenomenon as “Christ consciousness,” in which he places his trust in a higher power to find a state of spiritual enlightenment.
“When you ask yourself the deeper, bigger questions and you move beyond human existence and through meditation or something else, you experience the transcendental experience,” he explained in the video. “We are connected to everything that is.”
Hussey also reflected on what happens when someone dies.
“We return to a state of peace and love,” he told host Olivia Hunt. “I wasn’t Gerry before I was born, but I had to exist because in a womb, where you have your cells and your genes and your proteins, but they can’t move by themselves. There’s a spirit that enters the body.”
Chad’s message comes days after their eldest daughter Mabel, 17, honored her little sister.

“I love you so much Fiona,” she wrote on Instagram Oct. 3 alongside photos with her younger sister. “I wish your short time here was easier and i hope your mind is at ease now. I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, i hope you knew just how much.”
Following Fiona’s Sept. 29 death, which the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office later ruled a suicide, Chad and Kim remembered their middle daughter as a “loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.”
“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” the couple—also parents to daughter Nixie, 10—shared in a statement to People. “She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives.”
