Watch: Jim Carrey Confirms Private Romance in Rare Personal Update
Jim Carrey is living in eternal sunshine—no spotless mind needed.
And that’s because 64-year-old and his partner Min Ah have officially tied the knot, a spokesperson for Carrey confirmed to E! News Sept. 30.
This marks Carrey’s third time walking down the aisle; he was first married to Melissa Womer, with whom he shares daughter Jane Erin Carrey, in 1987 before wedding Lauren Holly in the ‘90s.
Any details about his third nuptials, however, have remained under wraps. After all, Carrey and Min Ah have kept their romance largely out of the spotlight, only appearing in public together for the first time at the 2026 César Awards in February.
The event was also the first time The Mask actor—whose daughter Jane and grandson Jackson also accompanied him to the award ceremony—confirmed his romance.
In the speech he gave after receiving an Honorary César Award, Carrey reserved special shoutouts for all the people in his life.
“Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson, I love you now and forever,” he said in French, adding, “Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah.”
He also thanked his father, Percy Joseph Carrey, for teaching him “the value of love, generosity and laughter,” calling the patriarch “the funniest man I have ever known.”
In addition to his prior marriages, Carrey also dated Renée Zellweger and Jenny McCarthy in the 2000s, as well as the late makeup artist Cathriona White and actress Ginger Gonzaga in the 2010s.

But while Carrey told Howard Stern in 2020 that he doesn’t regret any of his past relationships—noting, “I do appreciate the people that have come through my life for the good that they gave me”—just a few years earlier he’d told the radio host he didn’t anticipate ever walking down the aisle again.
“I just don’t see it as necessary at this point,” the Dumb and Dumber actor told Stern in 2014. “”Is it really sacred? I don’t know.”
“I can’t say that I know how I would feel if I meet somebody that knocks my head off,” he conceded. “I can’t make hard fast rules about the future, but I wouldn’t voluntarily go that way.”
Which means Min Ah must have truly knocked his head off.
