DWTS’ Had a Major Editing Error During Tatyana Ali’s Performance

Naturally, fans were disappointed after seeing what didn’t make it to air. 

“WE MISSED A WHOLE SPLIT??” one user wrote under Jan’s video, while fellow pro Ezra Sosa added, “HOW DARE THEY?”

A third referenced Jan’s ongoing joke that he has a “Dead to Me” list, writing, “THANK YOU!!!! I was screaming! Camera man is DTM.”

But despite the live flub, what viewers at home did see from Tatyana and Jan’s performance was enough to get them to week four of the competition. 

In fact, judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli all praised the partners for having turned a corner. 

As Derek told Tatyana, “That was your best dance. You came alive, your footwork was phenomenal. Overall, tonight was your breakthrough.”

Unfortunately, it was the end of the road for partners Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart, whose 18-point foxtrot didn’t earn enough votes to carry them through to week four. 

For the Hanson alum, his time in the ballroom will always stick with him. 

“This has been everything, this has been incredible,” Taylor said following the elimination, adding of Britt, “She’s shown me things I didn’t think was possible and I’m so grateful for this time.”
