“Outthink the killer. Outrun the lies.” Apple TV has revealed their official trailer for an eerie new serial killer thriller series titled Nocturne, a gripping, dark drama ready for release in October this fall. Obviously for streaming only on Apple TV. Adapted form the “Killer Instinct” book series including “The Sandman” novel, it’s about a dangerous serial killer known as Jurek Walter. A former homicide detective relocates to a small Pennsylvania town, which comes under attack by an imprisoned serial killer. Ex-soldier Jonah Lynn leaves Philadelphia for a quiet life. When serial killer Jurek Walter threatens his new home and family, Jonah must protect them, even as he sends his FBI agent daughter Saga to track the killer’s last victim. Liev Schreiber stars as the soldier turned homicide detective Jonah Lynn, Zazie Beetz plays FBI Agent Saga Bauer, Stephen Graham co-stars as the creepy Jurek Walter. The series’ full cast also includes Bill Camp, Rory Culkin, Chrissy Metz, Poorna Jagannathan, Gary Carr, and Landon Valentin. This looks like it’s trying to be “Mindhunter” x Silence of the Lambs – always more killer stories to tell on TV. Want to watch?
