Xbox has announced another set of new console features, which will begin rolling out to some users from today.
As ever, these new features will begin being tested by Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring, before slowing becoming available to all Xbox owners over the coming weeks.
The biggest addition here looks to be the ability to include party chat audio within gameplay captures, so you can fully remember a particular gaming moment and the reactions that came along with it. This feature has been designed so that individual party members can choose whether their audio can be captured, and only will be after players manually opt in.

Achievement hunters will likely celebrate to see an expanded set of options for tracking your progress, with your cheevo list now sortable by Last Played, Completion Percentage, Gamerscore Earned, Number of Achievements Unlocked, and more. And yes, you can sort these categories in ascending or descending order, allowing you to highlight where you’re close to the full 1000G, or ready to start unlocking a new game’s achievements from the off.
Next up, cloud saves. Players will be able to view and restore previous cloud save versions in supported games, starting with Forza Horizon 6, allowing you to recover an older progress point if necessary. If you ever experience a corrupted save (or want to go back and replay part of a game differently), this option should help you out.
And finally, Xbox is expanding your game wishlist — allowing you to add up to 1,000 titles. That should be enough, surely?
Today’s updates come just days after Microsoft’s latest set of Xbox console price rises have kicked in, raising the cost of some Xbox Series X and S models by up to $150 in the U.S., and up to an additional £220 in the U.K.
