Watch: Why Fans Think Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton Spent Anniversary at Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s Wedding
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton enjoyed quite the sweet escape on their fifth wedding anniversary.
In fact, some fans believe the couple—who married on July 3, 2021—no doubt rang in their special milestone at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s recent nuptials after Stefani shared a video documenting her and Shelton’s “five year wedding anniversary date night.”
In a July 20 Instagram post, the No Doubt frontwoman donned a pink turtleneck gown by Yara Shoemaker featuring beaded embellishments, which she paired with a silver Olga Berg clutch and matching Valentino heels. Meanwhile, Shelton sported a classic black tuxedo.
“Oh my god,” Stefani told Shelton as he modeled his look from a New York City hotel room. “You’re cute.”
The footage also showed the 50-year-olds riding in a car en route to their glamorous date, before cutting to the two returning to their ride later on in the evening.
“Look at who I have,” Stefani quipped as her husband sang Montel Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It” to the camera. “It was a really fun five-year anniversary for me and Sheltonator.”
And given that Swift and Kelce’s July 3 wedding—which took place at Madison Square Garden in NYC—had a black-tie dress code, internet sleuths quickly started connecting the invisible strings.
“Looks like y’all went to a certain wedding,” one Instagram user commented, with another adding, “Where else would they be going in NYC dressed like this on that exact date?”
Indeed, a plethora of celebrities were dressed to the nines that same day for Swift and Kelce’s nuptials. In fact, the ceremony saw approximately 1,000 guests, including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Jennifer lopez, Jessica Alba, Dakota Johnson, Tom Hanks, Patrick Mahomes and, yes, even Shelton’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert.

And while Swift and Kelce haven’t shared any wedding photos, details about the star-studded ceremony have been coming out from guests who scored a coveted invite.
“Paul McCartney played a song that he hasn’t played since 1960-something for the first time ever,” Pat McAfee recently let slip on his eponymous show. “Stevie Nicks played, Taylor was up there with them—obviously. Avril Lavigne.”
“The football world coming together with Hollywood and Nashville,” the NFL alum continued. “Brad Pitt brought me a Jack and Dime.”
