Citizen Vigilante Trailer

“I’m here to help you take that control back.” Quiver has revealed the official trailer for an action thriller titled Citizen Vigilante, the controversial new film from German B-movie filmmaker Uwe Boll. His next since First Shift a few years ago, this movie also stars the controversial, cancelled actor Armie Hammer attempting to make a comeback. I’m not posting this in support of the movie or anyone involved in it – only to say here is the trailer for this and you can decide on your own what to make of it. The movie follows the vigilante Sanders, an American now living in Zagreb, who takes justice into his own hands and hunts down criminals. While Sanders gains more & more fame, and the public sees him as a hero, Interpol chief Henry (co-starring Costas Mandylor) believes he is a threat to society and is circling in on him. Heralded by Boll as “an action film inspired by real events, based on real cases and a commentary about injustice,” the story centers on a wealthy American businessman who becomes both a hunted fugitive & unlikely viral sensation. Hammer & Mandylor star with other local actors filling the rest of the cast. This is getting a direct-to-VOD release in June this summer if anyone wants to actually watch it. Otherwise, the trailer is free to view below. // Continue Reading ›
