Some places do power rankings. Here at Cageside, we do a stock report.
In this weekly series, we identify three Superstars (or groups of Superstars) who are on their way up, and three that are moving in the opposite direction. After a busy week that included Money in the Bank 2026, a lot of fortunes were changed.
With that in mind, let’s see whose stock decreased the most this week:
Stock Down #3: LA Knight
Knight had probably the best match of his WWE career at Money in the Bank, but the bottom line is there is clearly a ceiling on how far up the ladder he can go being on the same show as Roman Reigns and Oba Femi. Knight and the commentators emphasized how this chance to fight Reigns in another title match was a do-or-die and put up or shut up moment for the megastar. The commentators even said that Knight’s choices were to either win or “be vanquished into obscurity.”
He lost clean to the OTC, which makes Roman’s talking points about LA being nothing more than a complaining, whiny bitch ring more true. Reigns also said he would prove that he’s the real megastar in WWE, which takes something away from LA as well, seeing how the champ is the one who ultimately backed up his trash talk.
Stock Down #2: The Vision
WWE fed The Vision to Oba Femi this week. The Ruler first beat up Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker all by himself on Raw, before declaring that Reed’s ass belonged to him at Money in the Bank. He delivered on those words by overcoming interference from Logan Paul and that dweeb Austin Theory to defeat Reed at the PLE. WWE didn’t do much to protect Reed, who lost in his very first match back on WWE programming since his surprise return last month. Femi kicked out of his Tsunami finisher, which opens the door for others to do so as well going forward.
As far as Breakker goes, he had a strong showing in the Money in the Bank ladder match, but the fact that he didn’t win is more evidence of how quickly Oba has surpassed him as the next face of the company.
Stock Down #1: Stephanie Vaquer
Vaquer was a dumb babyface on Raw when she ruined the finish of the number one contender’s main event match between Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan, and then booked herself in a 3-way women’s world title match against both of them at Money in the Bank. Vaquer took the fall and lost her belt in the PLE match, which had very little heat.
It sure looks like WWE’s decision to put the title on Vaquer last month was done for no other reason besides the fact that she was wrestling in her home country. They got the belt off of her as soon as they could, with zero successful title defenses in between.
Now let’s see whose stock increased the most this week:
Stock Up #3: Liv Morgan
WWE put the women’s world title right back on Liv Morgan at Money in the Bank. They clearly think she is the biggest women’s star in the company outside of Rhea Ripley, which is why they only took the belt off of her for Vaquer’s return home to Chile.
Stock Up #2: Oba Femi
Not even the Tsunami Splash and two brass knuckle punches were enough to beat The Ruler at Money in the Bank. Oba Femi didn’t need anyone’s help to dominate The Vision, and then he called out World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns after Money in the Bank was over. LA Knight likes to talk about WWE sticking rockets up asses, and there is nobody they are going all in on more than Oba Femi right now.
Stock Up #1: Tiffany Stratton & Penta
Stratton and Penta won their respective Money in the Bank ladder matches, putting them both right back into the conversation as probable future world champions in WWE. Tiffy Time has a built in story with WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green, so she can turn heel and become the new champion sooner rather than later. This is a big boost for Stratton, whose babyface run needed to end a long time ago.
Penta’s path to a world title is less clear if he remains on Raw with Roman Reigns and Oba Femi, but he can always move to SmackDown. The fact that WWE put the MITB contract with him instead of Breakker shows they really do believe that Penta can move numbers in the Hispanic market as a legit top star after going toe-to-toe with Roman Reigns on Raw in Mexico City.
There you have it, Cagesiders. Whose stock do you think changed the most this week?
