WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR SEPT. 14
Astral plane, conversing lane in a zany combination of Wayne’s pet youngin’. A stained pane, drownin’ out the rain in a zany combination of Wayne’s pet youngin’, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks.
The show opens with a recap of the tournament finals where Penta el Zero M beat his brother Rey Fenix to earn a WWE Men’s World Championship title match against Roman Reigns.
The usual montage of talent arriving at the arena– including Penta ON HORSEBACK– follows.
Rey Mysterio, in a neck brace, makes his entrance and gets on the mic next to general manager Adam Pearce.
He welcomes Mexico City to Raw and talks about this being the first time Raw has been in Mexico in fifteen years and speaks in Spanish about his history here and how proud he is to represent Mexico.
He tells Adam Pearce he thinks this is gonna be a historical night and hypes up Stephanie Vaquer defeating Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship on a house show in Chile the other day, with footage of it and then introduces La Primera.
Stephanie Vaquer makes her entrance and gets in the ring, hugging Rey on her way through.
She greets Mexico and celebrates having her title back by holding it high. She says it was the joy of her life to win it back in her home country of Chile but it’s an honor to come to Mexico and say in her first language that she is the world champion.
Enter Liv Morgan, looking haggard and accompanied by Dominik Mysterio.
She calls Stephanie the biggest hypocrite she’s ever known and says she got screwed on Saturday by Becky Lynch and Vaquer knows that’s the only reason she won, but it’s okay because at the end of the day they both know that with or without the title she’s still the greatest champion of all time. And as for Rey, she accepted he’s a deadbeat dad but he really hit an all time low hanging around someone like this puta.
Dominik Mysterio tries to speak and gets drowned out with boos and says he only sees a deadbeat and a cheater, and Liv is what a real champion looks like. Rey scoffs in Spanish and asks Dom didn’t he lose his title yesterday? And he tosses to footage of Dominik losing the AAA Mega Championship to El Grande Americano.
Dom says if that’s how he wants to play it he wants a mixed tag right now. Pearce claims Rey isn’t medically cleared, Dominik says his dad was cleared enough to screw him on this phony neck injury and he wants the match–
Enter El Grande Americano, defender of justice and beloved of all Mexico.
He steps in to accept the challenge in Rey Mysterio’s stead and Pearce makes it official!
But first we gotta go to break!

The Usos are backstage talking about how they need to get theirs back for having their car burnt down.
“Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu says he knows Roman Reigns told them to handle the 946 tonight but do they really think the play is to light it up while he’s defending the title in this building? “Main Event” Jey Uso says they don’t really have another choice and Fatu says you know he’s locked in but they’re gonna get picked off one-by-one and then the 946 are gonna have a clear shot for Roman.
