WWE has plotted a course for Bossier City in Louisiana for Monday Night Raw this week, the first show for the red brand following the events of Money in the Bank in New Orleans. There’s a lot of news coming out of the show, namely that Roman Reigns retained the world heavyweight championship, Oba Femi kept rolling with a win over Bronson Reed and then called Reigns out after, Penta won the Money in the Bank contract, Tiffany Stratton won the other Money in the Bank contract, and Liv Morgan won the women’s world title back from Stephanie Vaquer.
There will be no fallout for Reigns, considering he’s not even scheduled for the show. That puts a bit of a damper on Penta being there with a briefcase he won’t be able to do anything with.
The good news is Morgan will be there to talk about becoming champion once more, and surely we’ll get some sort of idea of her direction moving forward. Vaquer and Becky Lynch aren’t going away, and while Tiffany Stratton’s story revolves around Chelsea Green and her women’s title, there’s at least a chance she could go after Morgan.
Either way, we’ll hear from the new champ, per Raw General Manager Adam Pearce.
