“You have to stop staring at that. You’re gonna burn your eyes out!” But you can stare at this all day! Pixar has premiered an extra cute animated short to enjoy online via their YouTube channel. This isn’t an official short film released by Pixar, per se, but it is still a short film made by Pixar and it is directed by a storyboard artist / story supervisor who works at Pixar. Mother’s Nature is a 3-minute animated short with a series of fun vignettes about moms trying to teach their kids lessons. Featuring the voices of Maureen Russell & Jenna Louie Lohouse as the moms in this short. The scenes explore how familiar parental phrases are reimagined through the lives of various animals and plants. It’s a very fun and very quick little short – more of an experiment and fun video to share online than anything to watch in theaters. Most of all, it just makes me wish Pixar was still attaching new short films in front of their new movies ever year. I miss Pixar shorts. // Continue Reading ›
