Villano III Jr. earned the biggest win of his CMLL career in Arena Mexico on Friday night (May 29, 2026). The masked luchador was victorious in the Copa Jr.
The Copa Jr. is a tournament comprised of second-generation, or deeper family lineage, wrestlers. Last week, Villano III Jr. and Atlantis Jr. were the last two survivors in a torneo cibernetico, and they advanced to the Copa Jr. final.
Unfortunately, Atlantis Jr. suffered a knee injury, and he was replaced by Zandokan Jr. The logic was that Zandokan Jr. was in the final three of the qualifier.
Zandokan Jr. couldn’t capitalize on the second chance. The match had several near falls from high-impact maneuvers. In the end, Villano III Jr. surged to finish with a rising knee strike in the corner, a double underhook piledriver, and an Arabian Press moonsault.
