The RoleReporting to the Chief Financial & Administrative Officer, the Vice President, Technology & Digital Strategy serves as Shatterproof’s senior technology executive and leads the organization’s technology, digital operations, cybersecurity, data, artificial intelligence, enterprise applications, digital platforms, and technology-enabled products.
This leader will create and execute a comprehensive technology vision that advances organizational strategy, enables operational excellence, strengthens security and resilience, improves the employee experience, supports fundraising and advocacy, and drives innovation across mission-focused platforms.

The Team
The Vice President leads a multidisciplinary team spanning enterprise technology, digital operations, data, and product management. Current direct reports and functional oversight areas include IT Operations, Digital Operations, enterprise CRM and database capabilities, Treatment Atlas Product Management, and Treatment Atlas Data Management. The role is responsible for developing these capabilities into a cohesive, high-performing technology function that provides exceptional organizational support while advancing Shatterproof’s digital, data, and platform strategy.
The team supports and manages a broad portfolio that includes enterprise technology and workplace operations, cybersecurity and privacy, Salesforce and enterprise applications, website and fundraising technology, business intelligence and reporting, artificial intelligence initiatives, and the current and future technology architecture supporting Treatment Atlas.
In addition to leading the internal team, the Vice President oversees a network of managed service providers, software vendors, implementation partners, and technology consultants, ensuring that internal and external resources are aligned to organizational priorities and positioned to scale with Shatterproof’s evolving needs. This includes stewardship of strategic technology platforms and vendor relationships that support operations, fundraising, advocacy, data management, and mission delivery. Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Technology Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise technology strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology investments, risks, innovation opportunities, and emerging trends.
- Establish technology governance, architecture standards, prioritization practices, and a transparent enterprise roadmap.
- Evaluate and guide major technology investments, platform strategies, sourcing decisions, and vendor partnerships.
- Ensure technology decisions support mission impact, operational effectiveness, sustainability, and growth.
AI Strategy & Digital Innovation
- Lead Shatterproof’s enterprise AI strategy and roadmap.
- Establish governance frameworks, risk controls, and responsible-use standards for AI technologies.
- Identify and prioritize AI use cases across fundraising, operations, impact programs, and administration.
- Lead tool evaluation, pilots, implementation planning, adoption, training, and change management.
- Monitor emerging technologies and assess opportunities to create measurable organizational value.
IT Operations & Workplace Technology
- Lead IT and workplace technology operations for a distributed workforce.
- Oversee managed service providers, help desk operations, devices, Microsoft 365, identity and access, collaboration tools, and general application administration.
- Ensure timely and secure onboarding, offboarding, access management, and technology provisioning.
- Maintain service standards, knowledge management, policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Continuously improve reliability, support quality, and the employee technology experience.
Cybersecurity, Privacy & Organizational Resilience
- Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy, policies, governance, and training.
- Oversee risk assessments, incident response, cyber insurance requirements, Keeper governance, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Partner with leaders to protect organizational, employee, donor, constituent, and program data.
- Monitor emerging risks and drive practical, prioritized mitigation plans.
Digital Platforms, Website & Fundraising Technology
- Lead the strategy, governance, performance, accessibility, analytics, and integrations for Shatterproof’s website and digital engagement ecosystem.
- Oversee fundraising and advocacy technologies, including DonorDrive and New Mode, and related digital vendors.
- Partner with Development, Marketing & Communications, and Public Affairs to strengthen constituent experience, engagement, and platform value.
- Oversee Google Analytics and related reporting and optimization capabilities.
Salesforce & Enterprise Applications
- Own the enterprise Salesforce roadmap and governance framework.
- Oversee administration, security, permissions, data quality, integrations, reporting, releases, user support, and adoption.
- Partner with department leaders to prioritize enhancements, automation, workflow improvements, and reporting needs.
- Ensure enterprise applications remain aligned with operational and strategic priorities.
Data, Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Establish organization-wide data governance, reporting standards, and stewardship practices.
- Oversee dashboards, data models, access, refreshes, data quality, and Power BI capabilities.
- Partner with leaders to improve data-informed decision-making and performance visibility.
- Build scalable, well-governed analytics and reporting capabilities.
Treatment Atlas Platform & Product Leadership
- Serve as technology executive sponsor for Treatment Atlas in close partnership with Impact leadership.
- Oversee current processing infrastructure, operational monitoring, troubleshooting, releases, integrations, data flows, and vendor coordination.
- Lead the reimagined platform product and technical roadmap, delivery oversight, architecture, cloud strategy, security, and implementation partners.
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, usability, and long-term sustainability.
Technology Financial Management & Vendor Strategy
- Develop and manage the annual technology budget, forecasts, and multi-year investment plans.
- Oversee invoices, purchasing, contracts, renewals, licensing, and license optimization.
- Lead major vendor decisions, negotiations, performance management, and strategic relationships.
- Develop clear business cases and recommendations for significant technology investments.
- Oversee the purpose, vendor relationship, users, integrations, renewals, support, and roadmap for Just5, and manage the LegitScript relationship, certifications, submissions, renewals, and organizational obligations.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, multidisciplinary technology and digital operations team.
- Create clarity around roles, decision rights, service ownership, priorities, and cross-functional ways of working.
- Assess future capability, capacity, structure, and sourcing needs.
- Build a culture grounded in accountability, service, collaboration, innovation, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate complex technology issues in accessible, business-oriented language and lead change with transparency.
Ideal Experience & Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience spanning technology, digital operations, enterprise systems, product management, data, cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
- Experience serving as the senior technology leader for a complex organization and developing enterprise technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and building organizational capability.
- Strong experience with cybersecurity, technology governance, privacy-supporting controls, risk management, and organizational resilience.
- Experience leading CRM, data, analytics, digital platforms, enterprise applications, and major technology implementations.
- Experience overseeing technology budgets, contracts, licensing, vendor relationships, and implementation partners.
- Experience introducing and scaling AI-enabled solutions, governance, adoption, and training.
- Ability to translate organizational needs into practical technology priorities, investments, and execution plans.
- Executive presence and strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in a mission-driven, distributed, and evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

CompensationThe salary range for this position is $175,000 to $190,000. Placement within the range is determined by experience, internal equity, and organizational budget.
Additional Information
- Ability and authorization to work in the United States required.
- Ability to work Eastern Time Zone hours required.
- Domestic travel may be required based on organizational needs.
