For the second-straight year, the Baird Center North in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, will host the 2026 USA Wrestling Junior National Duals from June 17-20. The four-day event features freestyle and Greco-Roman dual meet competition between state association teams in the Junior Boys division.
Illinois enters as the returning champions in Greco-Roman, while Pennsylvania Red captured the freestyle title last spring.
Illinois took down Utah in the Greco-Roman gold-medal dual in a 39-24 contest. Eight of Illinois 10 wins in the dual came by technical fall. Minnesota Blue beat Oklahoma, 55-13, for bronze, and Washington upended California Blue in the fifth-place match, 37-27. Iowa finished in seventh place after a 42-26 victory over Michigan.
Pennsylvania Red capped off their unbeaten run in freestyle action with a 37-28 win over Ohio Scarlet in the gold medal match last year. In a back-and-forth dual, Pennsylvania Red’s five bonus-point victories were the difference in the match. Illinois won bronze with a 37-27 win against Wisconsin Red in the medal rounds. Indiana Gold edged out Minnesota Blue for fifth, 33-31, and Utah placed seventh with a 39-27 win against Ohio Gray.
The first two days of competition feature Greco-Roman competition, with freestyle action over the final two days of the tournament.

An All-Tournament Team, featuring athletes who go undefeated in their individual matches with five or more wins in a specific style, will be announced after each tournament.
As of June 12, 46 teams from 35 state associations are entered in freestyle, and 39 teams from 31 state associations are entered in Greco-Roman.
