“In a relationship, the key is finding ways to keep things fresh.” And apparently brutally violet, too! IFC has unveiled a second trailer for the bonkers action comedy film Over Your Dead Body, a new creation from filmmaker Jorma Taccone. “They’re killing the romance. Literally.” This recently premiered at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival in March to mostly positive reviews. Out in theaters to watch at the end of this month. Directed by SNL & Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone (of Pop Star: Never Stop Stopping, MacGruber), it’s about a dysfunctional married couple at a secluded cabin trying to fix their relationship. However, each secretly plots to murder the other. A riff on the “over my dead body” phrase, of course. Described as “a dark, twisted, and riotous action comedy, with a killer cast.” Over Your Dead Body stars Samara Weaving & Jason Segel as the couple, along with Timothy Olyphant, Juliette Lewis, Paul Guilfoyle, and Keith Jardine.
