“I’m considering inviting Olivia into the Circle of Trust.” Paramount International has debuted another new official trailer for the long-awaited comedy sequel Focker-in-Law, the latest film in the Meet the Parents family of Fockers comedies. Does anyone really want another? It’s a follow-up to Meet the Fockers and Little Fockers in the years past – though it has been 16 years since the last one hit theaters. This next one brings the main cast back and introduces newcomers into the mix: Ariana Grande (from Wicked) as bride-to-be Olivia Jones alongside Skyler Gisondo as her beau Henry, the couple at the center of this. In November, comedy icon and Emmy winner Ben Stiller and two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro reunite for a new chapter in the blockbuster Meet the Parents franchise. The full cast also includes Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, Beanie Feldstein, and Eduardo Franco. After the first trailer back in the spring, this new trailer rehashes most of the same footage with a few extra glimpses added in. For me this looks as unfunny as any movie can – not a single joke in here made me laugh. Is this Focker family still funny or not?

The circle of trust just got bigger. Focker-In-Law opens in theaters at Thanksgiving. A young man named Henry (Skyler Gisondo), son of Greg and Pam Focker, incites more family chaos when he decides to marry a strong-willed woman who appears to be his complete mismatch. Focker-in-Law, also known as Meet the Parents 4, is directed by American filmmaker John Hamburg, director of the films Safe Men, Along Came Polly, I Love You Man, Why Him?, and Me Time, along with eps of “The Unicorn” & “Stick” series. Based on the Meet the Parents movies written by Greg Glienna & Mary Ruth Clarke. It’s produced by Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, John Lesher, Jay Roach, John Hamburg. Universal opens Hamburg’s Focker-in-Law comedy in theaters nationwide starting November 25, 2026 at Thanksgiving this year. Any good?
