Watch: Tim McGraw Shares Rare Photo of His and Faith Hill’s Daughter Maggie on Her 28th Birthday
Tim McGraw didn’t particularly like it or love it when he took a tumble onstage—but he laughed it off anyway.
The Grammy winner proved he’s a good sport after he took a rather hard fall during his concert in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Aug. 28.
“Cincinnati, you started our weekend off on the right foot even if I couldn’t stay on mine,” Tim wrote on Instagram alongside a video of the heart stopping moment. “We appreciate you coming out and singing along! Detroit, you’re up!”
In the clip, the “I Like It, I Love It” hitmaker fell back before the video froze at the very moment he lost his footing.
“Yup, that’s me,” a voiceover added to the clip said. “You’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation.”
The camera then zoomed into his cowboy boot, which seemed to get caught in the stage’s flooring, causing him to topple backwards.
After seeing the fall up close, the country music star’s fans are just happy he didn’t hurt himself.
“I’m glad you are okay and can laugh about it now!” one fan wrote, while another added, “That was a pretty hard crash..I hope you are okay! Always a showman.”
But a few folks who probably won’t let Tim—dad to daughters Gracie, 29, Maggie, 28, and Audrey, 24, with wife Faith Hill—live the moment down are his little girls.
After all, his youngest daughter commented under the post alongside laughing and red heart emojis, “Oh nooooo.”

But the stumble can’t outshine the myriad of special moments Tim, 59, has experienced while performing on his Pawn Shop Guitar Tour.
Recently, Audrey made a surprise appearance at her dad’s July 24 concert in Wantagh, New York, where she performed her mom’s emotional 2002 track “Stronger.”
“I don’t have words to express the honor I feel to sing my mama’s song last night, and for it to be at dad’s show,” Audrey captioned a July 25 Instagram post featuring a snippet of her performance. “To be your daughter is an infinite gift. I love y’all so much, I am always so proud and so inspired by you.”
“Thank you for sharing this crazy life with us,” she added. “Proud to be a road dawg forever.”
