The go-home Raw before SummerSlam is off to a wretched start.
The opening segment with Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi was plagued by mic issues and an “LA cop” who couldn’t take a bump, making Femi look weak.
The Alpha Academy then got steamrolled by The Vision in a dull match in front of a lifeless crowd.
After another celebrity crowd shot, WWE rolled out back-to-back vignettes and a Michael Cole plug for a CM Punk doll. Just when it finally looked like we were getting another match, the show cut to commercial as Je’Von Evans made his entrance.
And we’re not even an hour into a show that’s supposed to sell people on SummerSlam.
Seriously, how the hell did this company fall off so hard?
