Combining expert interviews, home videos, and animations, the film meets this pressing AI discourse with curiosity and heart, clarifying complex ideas while acknowledging how much remains uncertain & human. Rather than “claiming to have all the answers, The AI Doc offers a conversation that feels urgent, hopeful, impossible to ignore.” I’m certainly intrigued and I really, really want to watch this just to see where it goes, and what it explores. But I think it’s all too easy to be sold on the promise of AI and what tech dudes claim, rather than the actual reality and snake oil sales man truth behind what’s really going on in AI.
