As we inch closer to the Academy Awards ceremony (on March 15th in a few weeks), the next major set of winners have been announced. The 32nd annual SAG Awards (or Screen Actors Guild Awards) honor the finest performances from 2025, as chosen by other actors which means this is one of the most definitive lists of the very best of the year. They’ve changed their name and now it’s known as The Actors Awards instead of SAG Awards. Actors know their profession better than anyone and are very particular about good performances. So who won this year? Michael B. Jordan from Sinners and Jessie Buckley from Hamnet took home the two top prizes, then Sinners surprised everyone by winning for Outstanding Ensemble Cast. All of this is a surprise because many journalists expected One Battle After Another to win along with Timothée Chalamet and Rose Byrne as well. The other big surprise: Amy Madigan from Weapons won for her creepy evil lady villain performance in that horror movie.
