Watch: Taylor Lautner’s Wife Tay Lautner Is Pregnant, Expecting First Baby Together
This home team has officially expanded.
Taylor Lautner and Tay Lautner announced they welcomed their first baby on Sept. 23, sharing the news via social media—and her name adorably pays tribute to her parents’ matching monikers.
“One week loving our sweet little Lenny,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post, before revealing that their daughter’s full name is Lennon Taylor Lautner. “9.16.2026.”
And that’s not all the Lautners shared of their new addition. Alongside the sweet caption, the couple also posted a snap of the newborn, whose tiny fingers poked out of a baby pink onesie as she laid on a matching blanket. To top off the cuteness, a tiny placard was placed next to the tiny tot that had a brown teddy bear and her name sewn into it.
Taylor and Tay, who wed in 2022 after four years of dating, hadshared news of the pregnancy in late March with sweet photos featuring sonograms of their upcoming arrival.
Nodding to their shared name, the Twilight star wrote at the time, “What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?”
Throughout her pregnancy, Tay shared glimpses of her journey to motherhood, even dancing to a lyric from her husband’s ex Taylor Swift’s song “Wi$h Li$t” that said, “Have a couple kids, got the whole block lookin’ like you.”
In the cheeky video posted April 20, she teased the possibility of expanding the Lautner brood, writing in the caption, “I’ll take 10 of you @taylorlautner.”
To which Taylor quipped, “Let’s start with 1 and go from there?”
The pair first met through Makena Moore, the sister of the Valentine’s Day actor, who threw a game night to facilitate their meet-cute.
“She called me and said, ‘Dude, I found your future wife. You need to meet this girl,'” Taylor previously told People in January 2022. “And the rest is history.”
He had been taking a break from acting at the time, which gave him the opportunity to get to know the future mother of his child.
“I wanted to take a step back and enjoy life and spend some time with my family and friends,” he continued. “And I met my [then] fiancée out of it, so it all worked out.”

Indeed it worked out well, as Tay shared in her anniversary post in January 2023, “He supports me to be free and live out my wildest dreams while loving me so so well. Beyond thankful for you.”
And way before they even met, the Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl alum had expressed his desire to have kids someday.
“I absolutely love kids, I love family,” he told Entertainment Tonight in 2016. “So, one day, I very much look forward to that.”
