So here is how BSC started:

When I started in stand up, I started at the San Diego Comedy Store, Mitzi owned both that one and Hollywood Comedy Store…
So I fail a lot there for a couple years and during that time me and my comedian friends would drive up to the Comedy Store in Hollywood and fail there, Fail at The “Laugh Factory”… for the night you know just fail every where

If your not very good at failing you will never make it in Stand Up Comedy…

So How it came about was… Im watching “Ace Ventura Pet Detective” SQ…

And there is a scene where Jim Carry is in a cave with a torch..LSS..Torch goes out and Jim Runs out of the cave screaming and there are 1000s of bats above him flying out at the same time!

He runs straight towards the camera in the shot and starts messing up his hair like trying to get bats out….Whew….

Scene: So I said it would have been funnier if when he runs out with the bats they are crapping all over him right
So by the time he got to the camera he would be covered in bat shit and going crazy….Hes going “bat shit crazy”!

So for some reason I thought it was funny, So I try it at the Comedy Store and its not even a bit its just a “Descriptive” YOU can say it in any person place thing citation THATS WHAT MAKES IT SO GREAT uhg!

So I only used it maybe 3 times at the Comedy Store Before I decided to just move to Hollywood instead of making the long drive.

So Im Living in Hollywood I prolly used it maybe 5 times.?

So heres a perfect example of how crazy life is!

Few weeks go by and I call down to talk to my Comedy Buddys I havent seen sense I moved right.
SO my friend answers and he hears its me and freaks out!
He goes man “EVERYBODY” is saying BSC!!

He says EVERY comedian there uses it, He said hes seen Comedians that came from other places use it!, He says NOT just comedians he goes man EVERYBODY is saying it!!

He says I heard it the store again yesterday!

Im like “What”?

Just joking I said “Watch all the great stuff Ive written in Comedy and that will be the one thing that sticks” TOTALLY joking!!

And what happens in comedy is everyone has a…I dunno an O.J joke Every comedian uses the same joke and its not really stealing material……you know what I mean.

So I guess thats why they thought stealing my material was ok lmfao! EVERY body was saying it, So it was like, Sense I moved I guess it was fare game there lol!!!!!!

OK So… What happens in Stand Up is, Everybody tours just like bands do. Maybe like 5 or 6 or so Comedians where ever you go are from some where else just touring.

So whats happening Is all these touring comedians are using it and spreading it all over the county etc

Thats how it spread so fast….You know stealing my material lol…

So Im walking down Hollywood Blvd one day and this girl walks by me and says BSC! I was like did she just say BSC?

Fast Foward…Im at Starbucks… Sitting there, they have the music going….And its Nickle Back and In their song they say something to the effect of we were drinking whisky and going BSC! My head spins around towards the speakers like I don’t know what that helps but anyways….

I spin my head back around to the guy next to me and Im Like DID YOU HEAR WHAT HE JUST SAID?!!!???
He says what the song, Something BSC? And Im Like YAAAAAAAAAAA!! Thats my stolen material lol

I cant believe it….
I hear it a song
Then I hear it in sit coms
Then I hear it in movies
Biggest movie it was in is “Guardians Of The Galaxy” Thats the only time I didn’t like it
It was like they just forced it in there some where right?

SO anyways ….You see how far my stolen material has gotten without me lmfao.
Its kinda like it was better off without me….. 🙁
