Sting’s son watches Darby Allin get stretchered out of arena after pyro explosion burns his face

Now that Darby Allin is officially booked in a Falls Count Anywhere match against TNT Champion Kevin Knight at All In London on Aug. 30, the former AEW world champ said he’s done trying to blow up Knight until the bell rings for their match.

The only problem with Darby’s vow, of course, is that Knight never agreed to follow the same path. With that in mind, check out this booby trap he set up for Darby involving a pyrotechnics malfunction on tonight’s (Aug. 19) episode of Dynamite. Darby didn’t realize he was walking right into a dangerous explosion.

The AEW commentators said they knew for sure that Darby’s face was burned in the pyro explosion. But just in case the burns weren’t enough to injure Darby ahead of their title match, The Jet rolled Darby’s body into the ring and added even more damage with a coast-to-coast Van Terminator.

Sting’s son Steve Borden came out to the ringside area and watched on as Darby was stretchered out of the arena. This led to a heated backstage confrontation between Sting Jr. and Kevin Knight.

What do you think Darby Allin will look like when he returns to AEW to fight Knight at All In? How will Sting’s son factor into their Falls Count Anywhere match? Let me know your thoughts on this explosive angle in the comments below, Cagesiders.
