For a second straight week, WWE posted a series of “exclusives” to social media following SmackDown.
After Sami Zayn cost Kevin Owens the Undisputed WWE Championship and left Owens and champion CM Punk sprawled out in the ring, fans inside Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena let him have it.
Chants of “You Suck” rained down on Zayn. But he didn’t just take it. Zayn barked back, yelling at the crowd before gathering his things and walking off.
In another clip, Ricky Saints broke up a mutual admiration society between AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix and Fraxiom. Saints labeled Axiom and Nathan Frazer as “Bert & Ernie” while reminding Fenix of his intentions to take the cruiserweight title.
WWE’s third and final exclusive saw The Miz brush off his daughter’s struggles with first grade as he continues to mentor Kit Wilson.
Wilson dropped some dope poetry, calling himself a “moment-making, hip-shaking, ego-fighting, poem-writing, physically strong but emotionally stronger, an inspiration to daughter, to son, true, real man.”
Wilson also revealed to Miz that he knew how to sew, showing off his cowhide-looking pants to his sports entertainment sensei.
“We don’t sew! We wrestle,” Miz shouted. “We beat people up!”
The latest batch of exclusives follows five post-SmackDown clips WWE posted last week, including the ongoing drama between Saints and Fenix and Blake Monroe’s confrontation with Giulia.
Monroe was scheduled to make her in-ring debut Friday against Giulia, but instead attacked Giulia before the bell, prompting WWE to cancel the match.
Though it wasn’t listed as an exclusive, WWE shared footage on X of the former NXT star explaining why Giulia wasn’t worth her time.
“I didn’t wait nine years to make it to the WWE to have my debut like that,” Monroe said. She called herself world championship material and demanded a match with Women’s (Interim) Champion Chelsea Green.
“Then you get the Glamour,” Monroe added.
