We made it to another Hump Day. Your reward? More rumors, of course.
Bayley returning to WWE television on Monday Night Raw this week was supposed to clear up all the confusion regarding her status with the company. The expectation was if she came back at all, it would likely be because she had signed a new deal. Then, Dave Meltzer outright said that was the case before PW Insider chimed in to say it wasn’t.
She has unless she hasn’t, and all that.
Fightful has chimed in to say “AEW doesn’t necessarily have that information yet (about Bayley likely re-signing with WWE), and they definitely had high hopes that they would at least be able to make a play for Bayley.” AEW, of course, is where her good friend Mercedes Mone is plying her craft, and they did plenty of teasing for the duo reuniting there.
Unfortunately, we don’t seem to be any closer to definitive answers either which way.
For now, we’ll just have to enjoy Bayley on WWE television. That doesn’t seem so bad, right?!?
