We made it to another weekend, this one with an event! Hell yeah. Let’s kick it off with rumors.
Remember that talk of how not everyone was on board with Sami Zayn winning the WWE championship from CM Punk? That came from Dave Meltzer, and he has since doubled down on that maintaining that feelings regarding the switch were mixed.
One thing he did want to clear up, however, is the fact that TKO isn’t worried about it either way.
That’s because, as he put it in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, TKO “do not care about small things like who is the champion right now and they are into the bigger deals.” Apparently, no one has said a word about Zayn being champion right now because, again, that’s not really the part of the business they concern themselves with.
That’s for Triple H and co. to worry about.
So I suppose we don’t need to worry about blaming TKO for any future title changes in WWE.
