What will WWE do if their wrestlers can’t safely travel to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel? Let’s see what today’s rumors have to say about it!
According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE is internally discussing the situation after the United States’ warning this week about reconsidering travel to Saudi Arabia. Crown Jewel is currently scheduled to take place on November 7 in Riyadh, so there isn’t much time left for WWE to come up with a backup plan and put it into effect if a change needs to be made.
A source in the company told the outlet that even if WWE can’t run an event in Saudi Arabia on November 7, there will still be a PLE on that date at a different location, due to WWE’s commitment and business deal with ESPN.
It sounds like WWE will keep the same theme and name for the PLE even if the location is changed. The bigger question that needs to be addressed is if WWE will still send its talent and crew to Saudi Arabia and move forward with running Crown Jewel there despite the updated travel advisory.
