According to WrestleVotes Radio, there was “definitely backstage chatter” in WWE about the heated moment on this week’s (Sept. 7) Raw when Oba Femi shoved Bronson Reed’s foot off of his body.
Oba’s swift reaction was apparently not part of the script for their segment. It sounds like people in WWE were caught off guard by the incident and not happy about what they saw. It’s not clear if that negative reaction is directed towards Bronson putting his foot on Oba, Oba knocking it off, or both. Perhaps we’ll be able to tell if either star now has backstage heat based on their booking in the coming weeks.
The debate among fans will continue on from here, but at the very least, it sounds like we can rule out the notion that everything that happened on camera was all part of WWE’s creative plan.
