Rhythm Heaven Groove

The final first-party Switch 1 game (as announced at the time of writing) is almost here, with Rhythm Heaven Groove set to launch tomorrow on 2nd July.

This one has felt like a long time coming, with the series being notably absent for almost the entirety of the Switch generation, but the previews and a free demo left us thinking that it’d be worth the wait in the end. The question is, is it?

Today, we can start to get an idea of exactly that as the reviews have dropped. Here at Nintendo Life, the wonderful Gavin Lane had an equally wonderful time with RHG, calling it “the perfect mic-drop for Switch 1” in his 8/10 review. Here’s a brief snippet followed by a link to the full thing:

I was worried that we’d make it through the Switch generation without a Rhythm Heaven, but coming just over a decade after the last, Nintendo has snuck out one final hit for the old Switch. A surprise and a delight, indeed.
