Registration is now open for the 2026 Bill Farrell Memorial International, which will once again be held at the New York Athletic Club in New York City. All three Olympic disciplines will be contested over the two-day event — Greco-Roman and women’s freestyle on day one and men’s freestyle on day two.
The 2026 Bill Farrell Memorial International will begin on Nov. 6 with Greco-Roman and women’s freestyle competition. The opening session on Friday begins at 9:30 a.m. ET and features preliminary competition and repechage matches for both disciplines. Medal matches will be held in session two, which begins at 6 p.m.
Men’s freestyle will be held on Nov. 7, with session one — preliminary rounds and repechage matches — starting at 9:30 a.m. Session two will feature the medal matches, starting at 6 p.m.
This event is open only to Senior-level competitors. All U.S. athletes must be American citizens and hold a current United World Wrestling (UWW) license. Registration costs $85 per style. U.S. athletes must submit required documents to Jaimie McNab (jmcnab@usawrestling.org) by Oct. 16 and register through Athena, UWW’s event registration platform, by Oct. 27. All registrations, including late registrations, must be completed online. All foreign athletes residing in the U.S. must contact their national federation to register for the event.
U.S. athletes who finish in the top three in any weight class at the 2026 Bill Farrell Memorial International will automatically qualify for the 2027 World Team Trials Tournament, April 19-25, in Las Vegas, Nev.
