Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days doesn’t officially begin until October 6, but we’re already seeing some early discounts ahead of the two-day shopping event, including savings across Philips’ Sonicare electric toothbrush range.
There are several models currently reduced at Amazon UK, ranging from the more affordable Sonicare 2100 Series to the considerably fancier DiamondClean Prestige 9900. So, whether you’re looking to make the switch from a manual toothbrush or simply fancy upgrading your current one, there are a few options worth checking out before Prime Big Deal Days properly gets underway.
The Philips Sonicare 2100 Series is currently £44 at Amazon UK, making it the cheapest option in this particular selection and a relatively straightforward entry point if you’ve never used an electric toothbrush before.
It delivers 31,000 bristle movements per minute and has two intensity settings, Medium and Low, alongside a programme designed to ease you into using an electric toothbrush over your first week.
There’s also a two-minute timer to help you brush for the recommended amount of time, while Philips says the battery can last for up to 14 days between charges.
If you want something a little more premium, the Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 is currently £119.99.
This model offers four brushing modes, including Clean, Deep Clean+, Gum Health and White+, alongside Philips’ more advanced cleaning technology. Philips also claims it can remove up to 10 times more plaque than a manual toothbrush and help remove surface stains for whiter-looking teeth.
You also get a travel case, which is a nice inclusion if you’re the sort of person who doesn’t fancy throwing an electric toothbrush loose into your luggage.
Finally, there’s the Sonicare DiamondClean Prestige 9900, currently £199.99 at Amazon UK.
This is the most advanced and expensive option of the bunch, using Philips’ SenseIQ technology to monitor pressure, motion and coverage up to 100 times per second. It can then adjust the brushing experience accordingly, with the aim of keeping things consistent and comfortable.
Philips claims the Prestige 9900 can provide up to 20 times more plaque removal than a manual toothbrush, so you’re getting into properly premium electric toothbrush territory here.
Prime Big Deal Days Hasn’t Started Yet
It’s worth stressing that these aren’t Prime Big Deal Days prices just yet. Amazon’s main October shopping event runs October 6-7, meaning there’s still time for these prices to change, potentially in either direction.
That said, if you’ve been meaning to upgrade your toothbrush anyway, you don’t necessarily need to wait until October 6. There are already several Sonicare models discounted ahead of the event, and the cheaper options in particular could make sense if you simply want to ditch the manual toothbrush without spending a small fortune.
