Must Watch First Trailer for Jordan Firstman’s ‘Club Kid’ Instant Fave​

A24 has revealed the first official trailer for the acclaimed film Club Kid, marking the feature directorial debut of actor / filmmaker Jordan Firstman. This is one of my favorite films of the year! Seriously! And I can’t wait for it to open soon! Club Kid is written & directed by & stars Firstman. It premiered at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival and was regarded by many as one of the biggest discoveries from Cannes this year (here’s my glowing review). A hard-partying New York City club promoter sees his whirlwind lifestyle upended by the arrival of the 10-year-old son he never knew he had. The film stars Jordan Firstman, Reggie Absolom, Diego Calva, Cara Delevingne, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Colleen Camp. I love everything about this wonderful film – the kid who plays Arlo is amazing. And Firstman has just the right amount of charisma mixed up with his troubles to make him endearing. Watch out for this one – dancing into theaters in the fall.

The life of washed-up New York City underground party promoter Peter (starring Jordan Firstman) takes an unexpected turn when he is forced to suddenly care for Arlo (newcomer Reggie Absolom), a 10-year old son that he never knew he had. Club Kid is written and directed by American actor / comedian / filmmaker Jordan Firstman, making his feature directorial debut after numerous short films and episodes of “This Close” and “Cinema Toast” series previously. It’s produced by Michael Bloom, Alex Coco, Galen Core, Ryan Heller. This initially premiered at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival playing in the Un Certain Regard section this year (read our review), and will also screen at the New York Film Festival. A24 debuts Firstman’s Club Kid movie in select US theaters starting November 6th, 2026 in the fall. Any good? Who wants to watch?
