Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani may not have been announced for Avengers: Doomsday, but she’ll host a new podcast counting down to its release.
Countdown to Avengers: Doomsday Official Podcast will debut its first episode next week on August 27, hosted by Vellani and podcaster Frank Alvarez. Slated to last five episodes, the series will be released via Disney+, but also on Marvel’s YouTube channel, and then audio-only across all usual podcast sources.
How much we’ll learn about Doomsday itself in the podcast will remain to be seen, as the series will instead recap and discuss key moments from the MCU to date. The show’s fifth and final episode will cover Avengers: Endgame, and handily coincide with the theatrical launch of Avengers: Endgame Encore.

When will we see Ms. Marvel again in the MCU? After starring in The Marvels, none of that movie’s three female leads have been confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday so far. But there’s an expectation among fans that Kamala Khan may still pop up for a cameo appearance, or feature more prominently in Avengers: Secret Wars.
This week, Marvel and Stranger Things star David Harbour appeared to have dropped a big Avengers: Doomsday spoiler, while Sebastian Stan attempted to avoid saying anything by claiming he hadn’t seen a full script.
