MJF says TNA President Carlos Silva is ‘actively a dumb motherf***er’

TNA Wrestling was in the news yesterday for pulling its wrestlers out of upcoming indie matches against AEW stars. The two biggest matches that were canceled include MJF vs. Nic Nemeth (fka Dolph Ziggler) at Brian Myers’ CAP Monumental Moment event in May, and the dream match of Ricochet vs. Leon Slater at the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow during WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas.

TNA President Carlos Silva said he pulled his wrestlers from these indie matches due to “partner conflicts.” He didn’t specifically mention which partner(s) he is talking about.

There are lots of rumors and speculation floating around about why TNA made this sudden about face on these matches, ranging from Silva being unhappy with AEW Collision airing head-to-head against Impact on AMC for one hour last week, to WWE pulling some strings to convince its partner TNA that their wrestlers could look bad if these events end up on streaming.

Lots of wrestling fans are understandably disappointed, upset, and/or frustrated about TNA canceling these matches under its new policy. After AEW World Champion MJF slammed TNA for doing this last night, he trashed Silva today on social media in response to the story about his unhappiness with Collision airing against Impact:

“It’s called being preempted due to March madness. This guy is actively a dumb motherfucker. Congrats. You pay your talents shit. [Then] force them off shows where they can make money. #lolTna”

It’s easy to see why many wrestling fans will share MJF’s harsh criticism on Silva and TNA today. LOLTNA, indeed.

Do you agree with MJF’s take on TNA President Carlos Silva? Let me know in the comments below what you think is the real story behind TNA’s decision to pull its wrestlers out of these indie matches against AEW stars, Cagesiders.
