“Based on a ‘true’ rumor.” Apple TV has revealed the official trailer for the comedy series called Brothers, sort of a reality series, but not entirely real. Ready for streaming this fall for everyone to enjoy. Real-life best friends Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson play fictionalized versions of themselves in this series set in Texas, of course. Their close friendship is put to the test when they decide to live together with their families at McConaughey’s Texas ranch near Austin after Harrelson’s daughter’s wedding falls apart. While at the ranch, McConaughey & Harrelson uncover a family secret that the two might actually be real brothers. Can it be?! This sends them into a tizzy as they try to figure out what is really going on and deal with their families. The ensemble cast starring alongside Harrelson and McConaughey includes Natalie Martinez, Brittany Ishibashi, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton, Noah Carganilla, Highdee Kuan, Oona Yaffe, and Holland Taylor as McConaughey’s momma “Ma Mac”. This looks Texas goofy and extra funny! Might actually turn out pretty good with these two fellas just riffing back ‘n forth. Enjoy the preview below.

Apple TV’s series Brothers follows McConaughey & Harrelson as fictionalized versions of themselves, and whose friendship is thrown into chaos when they uncover a decades-old secret: they might actually be brothers. After Woody’s daughter’s engagement falls apart, he loads up the family and heads to Austin for an extended stay at Matthew’s ranch. What begins as a healing getaway quickly spirals when Matthew’s mother, Ma Mac (Holland Taylor), accidentally lets slip a long-buried secret that the two friends might actually be brothers. As Woody turns the ranch upside down in pursuit of the truth, Matthew finds himself juggling an entirely different identity crisis: a potential run as governor of Texas. The result is a heartfelt, chaotic and wildly funny story about friendship, family, fame and the messy line between myth & reality.
