Mandy Rose is open to returning to the ring, and it doesn’t have to be with WWE

Mandy Rose stepped away from professional wrestling following her release from WWE in December 2022, but she recently said she’d consider an in-ring return.

She also said it doesn’t have to be with WWE while specifically naming AEW and TNA.

The former NXT champion made the comments during an appearance on TMZ’s Inside the Ring podcast released on September 10. She also touched on her release from WWE due to risqué content she was posting on her FanTime account.

While speaking about her departure from the company, Rose stated she was not upset by WWE management’s decision to let her go and that she’s grateful that the following she gained from her time there has allowed her to gave more financial freedom.

During the conversation, host Branson Quirke also asked Rose (real name Amanda Saccomanno) if she actively tries to distance herself from her WWE past.

“I feel like I embrace it,” Rose said of her wrestling days before adding, “The big question people ask is, ‘Will you ever go back?’ I always just say, ‘Never say never.’”

Quirke soon followed up by asking her if she would consider taking a phone call from AEW.

“For sure. I would take any call, whether it was AEW, WWE, TNA,” Rose replied. “It doesn’t matter where it’s from. I would always take the call.”

She continued: “What would be different would be the conversation I have with whichever company it would, because it would be about the Mandy Rose today, and it wouldn’t be about the Mandy Rose five years ago. I think that’s what’s so important, because I’ve grown. I’ve been very successful these past few years, especially being out of WWE. I think I’m in a different headspace. I’m in a different mindset of what I want to do, and how I want to portray the rest of my career, and also what I want to do to my body.”

Rose then said she would consider working a managerial position for a promotion, and then stated: “I wouldn’t be opposed to maybe getting back in the ring one day.

“I always just say ‘never say never,’ because I feel like you never know how you’re going to feel in a certain timeframe. Maybe there is a day that I’m like, ‘I really feel like getting back in the ring.’ I’m like, ‘Why not?’ I’m still young. I still take care of myself really well. That’s why I always say, ‘never say never.’”
