Odin’s the star of the film!” 🐕 Paramount Pictures revealed a new behind-thre-scenes featurette for Heart of the Beast, a wilderness survival thriller co-starring a dog (full trailer here). Made by action filmmaker David Ayer (of Fury, Suicide Squad, Bright, The Tax Collector, The Beekeeper, A Working Man). This dog movie + survival adventure lands in theaters nationwide in September. A former Army Special Forces soldier and his retired combat dog, Odin, attempt to return to civilization after a plane crash out in the Alaskan wilderness. They are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements. This new movie is an intense adventure thriller that explores the unbreakable bond between a man and his best friend as they face their greatest battle yet. Starring Brad Pitt and his doggie, with J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe. Even though it’s set in Alaska, this was shot entirely in New Zealand at various national parks & locations. The dog star is named Uber playing the character of Odin. This promo video is all about the doggie + Brad Pitt filming with him on set all the time. “He’s been my boy throughout this shoot.” Aww.
