Logan Paul qualifies for Elimination Chamber after mystery masked man is revealed

Loading

A mystery attacker took out Jey Uso at the start of tonight’s (Feb. 27) episode of SmackDown, sending Jey to the hospital and removing him from the men’s Elimination Chamber match. As a result, GM Nick Aldis needed to find a suitable chamber replacement for Uso by the end of the show.

The Vision showed up almost right away and lobbied for Logan Paul to get Jey’s chamber spot. Later in the show, Jacob Fatu asked Aldis to let him avenge Jey by adding him to the chamber. This led to an Elimination Chamber qualifying match between Paul and Fatu in SmackDown’s main event.

The match had a wild finish when Raw’s mystery masked man suddenly showed up to attack Austin Theory at ringside. However, The Vision quickly got the better of the mystery man and took off his mask to reveal…a no name jabroni underneath? I guess it was a phony.

It looked like the mystery jabroni at least created enough of a distraction to give Fatu an edge over Paul. However, just as the Samoan Werewolf was about to finish off Logan with a moonsault, Drew McIntyre showed up out of nowhere to blast Fatu with the WWE championship, thereby screwing him out of the Elimination Chamber match for a second time.

The end result is that Jey Uso is out of the men’s Elimination Chamber, and his spot is now filled by a YouTube douchebag.

What’s the deal with the mystery masked man fake out? Does Logan stand a chance in the Elimination Chamber against Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Trick Williams, Randy Orton, and Je’Von Evans? Give me your reactions to this angle and match in the comments below, Cagesiders.
