“You’re seriously dating Dr. Evil? Does he even have real human emotions?” It seems that he does! Amazon MGM Studios debuted the amusing full official trailer for quirky romantic comedy movie titled The Love Hypothesis, arriving for streaming directly next month. This is adapted from the book of the same name written by Ali Hazelwood, with another one of these “aw isn’t that adorable but also funny” concepts. After an impulsive kiss, two scientists end up in a fake relationship, testing theories about love and each other. Lili Reinhart stars as Olive, a brilliant PhD candidate focused solely on her future in academia. But when she realizes her best friend Ahn has fallen for her crush Jeremy, Olive impulsively kisses the intimidating professor Adam to prove she’s moved on and they end up running with it. She must test her most daunting hypothesis yet: that love might actually be worth the risk. With Reinhart, this co-stars Tom Bateman as “Dr. Evil”, Rachel Marsh as her best friend, Nicholas Duvernay, Jaboukie Young-White, and Arty Froushan. This trailer is way more awkward than the first teaser, showing off a lot of the strange moments between these two before they realize they might actually have real romantic feelings for each other. Enjoy.
