Prince George will soon be towering over his family.

The eldest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s latest growth spurt took center stage in a new full family photo shared by the Princess of Wales.

To mark her completion of the UK’s National Three Peaks Challenge on Instagram July 5, Kate shared posed for a snap with her support system, sharing hugs and smiles with William and George, 12, as well kids Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8, parents Carole Middleton and Michael Middleton and brother James Middleton.

In the photos, the tween nearly matched her 5-foot-9 height as he congratulated his mother on successfully trekking across the highest peaks of England, Scotland and Wales. George was the spitting image of his father in blue jeans, a blue polo shirt and brown sneakers as he posed alongside his mother’s side of the family.

This isn’t the first time that royal watchers have noticed how tall George has gotten.

Just last month, he stepped out with Kate for a mother-son visit to the Royal Air Force Coningsby, and fans of the royal family commented on a June 27 Instagram post commemorating the appearance remarking on George’s height.

“Oh my word!” one commenter wrote. “He’s so tall.”

While another Instagram user noted, “It feels as though it was just yesterday his parents were introducing him to the world outside of the hospital, and now he has grown remarkably tall.”

His growth spurt comes as he prepares to attend Eton College—the boarding school that William and Prince Harry both attended as teenagers—in September.

But though he’s going through the adolescent rite of passage that is growth spurts, it remains to be seen whether his new school will see him reach another: Getting his first cell phone.

“I think when George moves on to secondary school, then maybe he will have a phone then that has no internet access,” William told host Luciano Huck during a November interview. “To be honest, it’s getting to the point where it’s becoming a little bit of a tense issue. But I think he understands why. We communicate why we don’t think it’s right.”

“I think it’s the internet access that I have a problem with,” he added at the time. “I think children can access too much stuff they don’t need to see online. So having a phone and text message, the old sort of brick phone as they call them, I think that’s fine.”
