The Nashville fans were in for a treat at AEW Collision (July 25, 2026) when a local hero made music. Jeff Jarrett hit his guitar over the head of a bald man. Ricochet had it coming.
When Double J sat down for commentary, he didn’t expect to be physical. Ricochet joined the desk as well for the trios match between Scorpio Sky, Matt Sydal, & Dante Martin and Jay Lethal, Blake Christian, & Lee Johnson. Ricochet recently bonded with Lethal over hair care tips. That’s why he lent a helping hand to influence the finish. A distraction from Ricochet allowed Johnson and Christian to capitalize for a combo finisher on Martin to win.
Jarrett remained on commentary to watch the Conglomeration retain the AEW World Trios Championship over challengers Dalton Castle & The Outrunners. After the match, the Demand and Lethal Twist rushed the ring to beat up all the babyfaces. Jarrett saw enough, so he went for the save. Ricochet punched Jarrett down before he could do any damage. It seems that Jarrett’s effort sparked the babyfaces to clear the ring. Ricochet was surrounded, and Orange Cassidy served a knuckle sandwich. Jarrett brought in his guitar to hit Ricochet over the head. It wasn’t a clean break. You have to wonder that if Ricochet had hair then maybe that would have cushioned the blow.
This isn’t just about the fun moment from Jarrett. A trios title match came out of the scramble. The Conglomeration will defend the gold against Lethal Twist on the Buy In pre-show at Redemption.
Do you still enjoy Jeff Jarrett giving guitar shots? Would you like to see Jeff Jarrett versus Ricochet in some capacity of match?
