Disgruntled pro wrestler Jake Hager stepped back onto the stage at Power Slap 21 last night (Sat., July 10, 2026) in Las Vegas, Nevada to take on fellow former pro wrestler Amanpreet Singh. It was going well for Hager early on but once they got to round three of the heavyweight bout, Singh landed one flush for a particularly brutal knockout:
That’s the kind of video that turns a man into a meme. Of course, I remain convinced that’s the entirety of the reason Power Slap exists at all, to feed the content machine in the hopes of scoring viral clips.
Hager won his debut by knockout over WrestleMania weekend a couple months ago and immediately told the camera “f—k you, Tony Khan,“ his latest in a line of insults hurled at his former employer in AEW. He hasn’t done much in pro wrestling for a couple years now and has been focused on his trucking business when he’s not taking time out to get slapped in the face for low pay.
