Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP must have made strong investments to be living large. Ever since MVP stated that the Hurt Syndicate is open for business to hurt people in exchange for cash, there were no takers. It has been six weeks without even a nibble. That changed Saturday night on Collision (Aug. 8, 2026). The Hurt Syndicate finally received a business offer, which included a monetary sum as an advance for future beatings.
You’ll never guess who made the proposal. You might not get it in 20 guesses.
Shane Taylor is the answer. The proprietor of Shane Taylor Promotions approached the Hurt Syndicate with an envelope full of 100-dollar bills. MVP is open to hear STP’s proposal.
I don’t know of an obvious scenario where STP requires more muscle. They already have eight members. Does Taylor have eyes on the AEW trios titles held by the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly? STP would need all the help it can get to topple Hangman Page, Brody King, and Bandido. Does Taylor want the Hurt Syndicate to pummel the competition in the Casino Gauntlet at All In to earn a world title shot? That’s assuming STP members are in that match.
Where do you think this story is heading? Who will be the next victims for the Hurt Syndicate?
