Abigail Thorn, a star of the hit HBO show House of the Dragon, made an appearance at the debut show of a new wrestling promotion, and surprisingly got involved in the action.
During the July 3 show for T4T Wrestling, Thorn served as the hostess for the night. However, she later grabbed a steel chair from ringside and used it to attack one of the wrestlers.
On the popular Game of Thrones spin-off, Thorn portrays Admiral Sharako Lohar, the commander of the Triarchy fleet. The character was introduced at the end of the second season of the show and plays a pivotal role in the beginning of season three.
Before she gained success with high-profile acting parts like playing Ensign Eurus on the Star Wars television series The Acolyte, Thorn was known for her incredibly popular YouTube channel, Philosophy Tube, which began with a focus on philosophy lessons before extending into more theatrical creations.
One of Thorn’s most popular videos, which received media attention in 2021, was one in which she came out as a trans woman. Her eventual status as a public advocate for the transgender community made her a natural fit for working with T4T Wrestling since the Los Angeles-based promotion centers around trans, nonbinary, and queer performers.
“Express yourself through storytelling, music, drag, dance and stage combat all fused with the spectacle of pro wrestling,” reads a post on T4T Wrestling’s Instagram account describing its mission. “This is a space for bold ideas, bigger personalities and unapologetic self-expression.”
The sold-out show on July 3 also featured NWA World Women’s Television Champion Gisele Shaw successfully defending her title in a triple-threat main event against AEW star Nyla Rose and Dark Sheik.
