Watch: Rob Reiner Earns Posthumous Emmys 2026 Nomination for ‘The Bear’
Live from Los Angeles, it’s Connor Storrie and a very special woman.
Indeed, the Heated Rivalry star traded a trip to Shane Hollander’s Canadian cottage for a spot at the Peacock Theater for the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards alongside his mom Linda Storrie on Sept. 6.
Storrie—who earned his first-ever Emmy nod in the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series category for his February appearance on Saturday Night Live—stepped out in a dark gray Saint Laurent Spring 2027 suit featuring two ornate buttons over a silk button-up shirt. But the real showstopper was his short, golden haircut, a grown-out version of the buzz cut he debuted while filming the second season of the gay hockey romance in August.
Linda complemented her son in a sparkling form-fitting gown, which she accessorized with black mesh heels and a sleek matching clutch.
Posing on the red carpet ahead of the award show—where he is nominated alongside Michael J. Fox, Brett Goldstein, Hamish Linklater, Christopher McDonald and the late Rob Reiner—was especially fitting for the clown school alum.
“I’m a very visual person before acting really took off,” the 26-year-old told GQ in May. “I’ve had a million passions, one of them being clown, but also one of them being photography. I’ve always just loved the aesthetics of fashion photography and editorial. I really enjoyed that element.”
“You do feel different in different clothes,” Storrie continued, noting that sometimes he’s “feeling really strong and powerful. Sometimes you want to feel rich and relaxed. I think it taps into my visual sensibility of liking photography and fashion.”

Although he and costar Hudson Williams—who made a surprise cameo during the SNL episode—couldn’t be nominated for Heated Rivalry since the series is a fully Canadian-financed production, Storrie reflected on being the only host to receive the honor at the 78th annual ceremony.
“SNL was such a ‘pinch me’ moment in my career,” the Peaked actor said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter in July. “It was a formative part of my life growing up, so to be recognized by the Academy for hosting feels incredibly surreal. I’m so grateful to everyone who made that night possible.”
