“I love my family, but I just wanna do my own thing.” “You let your light shine!” Lionsgate has revealed a promo trailer for the upcoming movie Michael, an epic musical biopic about ultra famous “King of Pop” musician Michael Jackson. Opening in April this spring – a final “get your tickets” trailer for early access screenings before the main release. The movie is a look back at MJ’s early days, following his younger years and upbringing leading into worldwide stardom. A very flashy, all-out, big screen movie about Micahel’s life & music. Michael will be played by his real-life nephew, Jaafar Jackson – and it’s Jaafar’s film debut. The full cast includes Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Juliano Krue Valdi, Kat Graham, Larenz Tate, Derek Luke, Jessica Sula, with Miles Teller, as well as Colman Domingo as his father Joe Jackson. The main official trailer arrived a few months ago as they begin turning up the marketing these last few months before release.
