All four seasons of the hit sci-fi show Heroes are currently down to $19.99 at Amazon. That’s 86% off the standard list price of $144.96, and just under $125 total savings.
Note that this is for the original series, which ran from 2006-2010, and doesn’t include the 2015 soft reboot, Heroes: Reborn.
I’m typically a physical media advocate, and unlike my friend and colleague Chris (who recently wrote up another digital deal, this time for The Lord of the Rings trilogy), I am still trying my hardest to maintain a physical collection.
But, when deals like this Heroes collection are available, it can still be worth picking up a bargain or two along the way. And if you haven’t given up on physical media as well, you have plenty of upcoming movies to peruse in the meantime, including Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The End of Oak Street, and a whole lot more.
Heroes premiered in 2006 on NBC to critical acclaim, and quickly became one of the biggest new shows of the late 2000s. Its first season became a standout take on a superhero drama, chronicling the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities in a grounded reality.
I personally loved the show, unsurprisingly as a comic book fan, and fondly remember watching it with my mother from start to finish when I was getting into plenty of American TV dramas during my youth.
Unfortunately, I can’t mention Heroes at the moment without sadly reminding you that actress Hayden Panettiere, who played Claire Bennet in Heroes, recently died at the age of 36.
Panettiere was also known for her work as Juliette Barnes on Nashville, featured in several Kingdom Hearts games as a voice actor, and starred as Samantha Giddings in PlayStation’s Until Dawn.
