Funny Trailer #2 for ‘Idiots’ Comedy with Dave Franco & Peter Dinklage​

“Dumb & Dumber meets Midnight Run.” A crazy fun time! IFC has revealed one more official trailer for the comedy titled Idiots, a super wacky extra dumb stoner comedy out at the end of this summer. Described as a “raucous and wildly entertaining descent into madness,” it premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival under the dangerous title The Sh&theads, though has now been adjusted to the more tamer Idiots. Which is also very much an accurate description of these characters! Two unqualified bozos (starring Dave Franco & O’Shea Jackson Jr.) are hired to transfer this spoiled, rich problematic teen named Sheridan to rehab, when their straightforward gig quickly spirals into dangerous mayhem. Along with Franco & Jackson, it also stars Mason Thames (from The Black Phone, How to Train Your Dragon) as Sheridan, Kiernan Shipka, Nicholas Braun, and Peter Dinklage. Sundance pumps it up: “Blair treats us to his signature absurdist sense of humor and douses it with gasoline and psychedelics, crafting an uncanny world where the worst intentions net the highest yields.” Just be warned – this movie is extra dumb! Because that’s the whole point! Everyone is doing dumb things & getting into dumb trouble and you get to laugh at them for 98 mins. Enjoy.
