“We gotta get that pizza!” “We need to eat pizza!” 🍕 Hulu has revealed a wild trailer for a comedy called Pizza Movie, a classic drug-trip-gone-extra-wild comedy from directors Brian McElhaney & Nick Kocher. They’re a comedy duo who have been writing for “SNL” since 2016 and other comedy work since then. This is their first feature film. It’s premiering at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival underway now in Austin, Texas – and will be out for streaming to watch in April. A shy college student and his reckless roommate set out on a simple mission to grab pizza, but after a strange dose of a mind-bending experimental drug, they’’re thrust into a chaotic night of absurd encounters, wild hallucinations, and unexpected revelations that could change their lives forever. These intrepid drug users face an unexpectedly epic journey when they must navigate two flights of stairs to retrieve their pizza delivery, turning a simple task into a surreal adventure.
